We started off as a community watch group to serve and defend the marginalized people of our community and to be a safety net for each other. Each one teach one. Our broader vision is as follows:
We envision a society where the people have a say over their lives, workplaces, schools, and destinies. It is clear in this dark age of oligarchy, power in the hands of the few, that we need to become a new society, that we as a community, need to learn how to do for ourselves, we need to learn how to protect ourselves, we need to learn how to become self-sufficient with our land and water. We need to teach each other. We envision this group as being a resource to the people. We believe in dual-power, meaning we as a community serve and protect ourselves, we have each other’s backs. We are all in this together. In a society that values selfishness, greed, ego, and fear, we must build out of that mess a society that values empathy, courage, honor, and love.
To this end, you will find a little bit of anything and everything here.
We will either provide or have links and referrals to:
1- Self Defense Classes, Firearm safety and operation classes, gun range sessions, community watches, etc.
2- Community organizations that provide free or low cost services, or who need volunteers to help with their community outreach operations.
3- Agricultural classes and resources.
4.- Political Actions, including but not limited to: A. Direct actions B. Electoral actions C. Demonstrations D. Community outreach and education
5- Emergency response drives: for example, we are currently researching impending dangers to the community and what we can do about them, for example finding out if a water supply is potentially contaminated and providing emergency relief resources such as collecting, providing, and distributing clean drinking water as a solution, then plan further actions and community education and awareness.
